The title of this blog is so fitting today.  I know it’s the Lord reminding me of his love for me.  (It’s also the title of the song I will be singing at my church this Sunday, but that’s beside the point.)

The thing is, I’m so proud of my little second grader!  Even though she didn’t thoroughly follow directions on her writing assignment, she put the commas in the right places, misspelled only two words, and her writing was legible…lol!  Doing well on her assignments is great, but the thing that touches my heart is her facial expression when I tell her “well done!”  I’ve learned throughout the past four years of homeschooling not to be so quick to notice my kids’ mistakes, but to point out the things they’ve done well.  It’s convicted me of being more conscious, and cautious of criticizing, not just my kids, but my dear husband as well.  Even though it’s mid January, it’s not to late to make a resolution to see the good points first, not just in my family, but in everyone I come in contact with.  “Let all your things be done with charity.” 1 Cor. 16:14 KJV

Thank you for reading.  God bless!
