March 11th-14th, 2019

Hi there!  This week, my preschooler learned all about the letter S.  She also reviewed her shapes, so one of her crafts was to make an “itsy bitsy booklet” about squares.

Aside from the core daily lessons of bible,  math, english, reading, etc., my 3rd and 6th graders are learning more about parts of flowers and how they reproduce (scroll down to days 121-124),  and for history, this week was all about ancient Japan (scroll down to day 121).

We also had fun bird watching at Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve (only five minutes from our house!) with our homeschool group.

But most importantly, Monday March 11th was my third-grader’s 9th birthday.  She got plenty of fun gifts, but I know her most favorite was the hoverboard.

Thanks so much for reading and God bless!
